Evidence & outcomes

Measure the movement. Follow the change. Learn from the outcome.

Ageility is building an evidence-centered system that connects what happens in a movement assessment to what becomes possible in a person’s life.

See what matters

Activity completed is not the same as an outcome achieved.

A complete movement-health model should establish a baseline, define the intended change, reassess the movement system, and connect progress to the activities and independence that matter to the person.

Ageility’s current methods are informed by decades of one-on-one practice and established movement-science principles. The Institute’s long-term role is to strengthen that foundation through formal research, standardized methods, and transparent outcome reporting.

From movement quality to lived possibility.

Movement quality

How efficiently the body organizes motion, control, alignment, sequencing, and force.

Functional capacity

Whether available strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and power match the demands of the task.

Movement confidence

How safely and confidently a person approaches movement in daily life and meaningful activity.

Participation

Whether improved movement translates into greater engagement in family, community, work, recreation, or sport.

Durability

Whether progress can be sustained and adapted as goals, health, and life demands change.

Build the field with disciplined questions and responsible claims.

Establish

Define assessment domains, operating standards, documentation practices, and meaningful outcome measures.

Study

Examine reliability, change over time, functional transfer, and the relationship between movement health and independence.

Share

Publish methods, findings, limitations, and practical guidance so knowledge can improve care and public understanding.

Evidence should lead the story—not be used to decorate it.

The Movement Health Score™ and related measurement architecture are developmental research initiatives. They are not currently established diagnostic tools. Ageility will distinguish clearly between practice-informed methods, validated measures, and future research hypotheses as the work advances.
